Asociația Culturală Georgiana Rusu is the most active independent cultural operator in Dobrogea, with a portfolio of 38 cultural projects realized exclusively from funds attracted following participation in various funding calls: 24 projects with funding from the National Cultural Fund Administration (AFCN) , 11 projects with funding from Constanța City Hall and 3 projects with funding from Constanța County Council. The thematic areas targeted by the association’s projects are: Visual arts, Performing arts (Theatre, Music, Dance), Education through culture, Material Cultural Heritage, Cultural intervention. All cultural activities of the projects are free to the public. Without exception, the 38 projects were implemented and concluded under optimal conditions from an organizational, artistic, financial and impact point of view. In the 38 projects, A.C.G.R. had 44 partners and collaborated with over 800 individuals and 50 legal entities, with a total of over 350,000 people participating in cultural activities. The total value of the organized projects: 6,514,050 lei (financing obtained: 5,770,903 lei, the association’s own contribution: 743,147 lei).
