Between September 27 and October 1, 2023 at the Studio Hall of the Constanța State Theater (Str. Ion Lahovari no. 2A) and between October 15 and November 30 at the Colored Library (Tomis Mall, floor 3), the exhibition of photo “Khetanes – Together”. The series of events takes place within the homonymous project organized by the Georgian Cultural Association, financed by the SEE Grants 2014-2021 within the RO-CULTURE Program, the call “Supporting cultural initiatives about the Roma minority”. The opening will take place on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, starting at 6:30 p.m.
For three months, the photographer Marian Adochiței immortalized people of Roma ethnicity from localities of Constanța county where there are Roma communities or took snapshots during some traditional activities of the Roma ethnicity. In the months of September, October and November, 50 photographs of different sizes will be exhibited in the foyer of the Studio Hall of the Constanța State Theater (in September, to be seen by the public before and after the 10 performances of the musical theater show), respectively in the exhibition space at the Colored Library – Tomis Mall, et. 3 (in October and November, to be seen by the public before and after the 30 performances of the puppet show).
Public access to the photography exhibition will be free. The exhibition is made with the support of the Constanța State Theatre.
