Between September 27 and October 1, 2023 at the Studio Hall of the Constanța State Theater (Str. Ion Lahovari no. 2A) and between October 15 and November 30 at the Colored Library (Tomis Mall, floor 3), the exhibition of painting “Khetanes – Together”. The series of events takes place within the homonymous project organized by the Georgian Cultural Association, financed by the SEE Grants 2014-2021 within the RO-CULTURE Program, the call “Supporting cultural initiatives about the Roma minority”. The opening will take place on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, starting at 18:00.
For three months, 10 painters – members of the Union of Plastic Artists created 4-5 paintings depicting Roma people in different poses from localities of Constanța county, including during some traditional activities of the Roma people. In the months of September, October and November, the 40 – 50 paintings of different sizes will be exhibited in the foyer of the Studio Hall of the Constanța State Theater (in the month of September, to be seen by the public before and after the 10 performances of the theater show musical), respectively in the exhibition space at the Colored Library – Tomis Mall, et. 3 (in October and November, to be seen by the public before and after the 30 performances of the puppet show).
They will exhibit: Florin Stoiciu, Ovidiu Felipov, Alexandru Şerbănescu, Răzvan Dragoș, Claudiu Argeșanu, Maria Teodorescu, Evelina Radu, Maria Oancea, Anastasia Stoiciu, Dorin Barbu
Public access to the painting exhibition will be free. The exhibition is made with the support of the Constanța State Theatre.
